What people actually use it for

Defend

Repricer overcorrection

An automated repricer chasing a competitor to the floor is the most expensive silent failure on Amazon.

My price drops more than 5%

Competitors

Someone undercuts you

Watch the three ASINs that actually take your sales, not the whole category.

Competitor ASIN price drops more than 10%

Errors

An unexplained price rise

A price that goes up on its own is usually a mapping or promotion error, and it kills conversion immediately.

My price moves more than 5% either way

Agencies

Holding a promotional floor

During a deal period, know the same day if the effective price drifts under the number you agreed with the brand.

Price falls below my agreed floor

Alerts fire on price, rating and search position. Every check also shows the product image, best-seller rank, review count, buy-box seller and stock.

Why it is free

SellerMate is an Amazon ads automation platform, and that is the part people pay for. The tracker is free because a seller who finds out the same day their position slipped is a seller who eventually wants the bid changed automatically — and because we would rather be the tool you already have than the one you evaluate. Nothing here is funded by selling your data, and there is nothing to sell: every check reads public pages.

Why this one

Any ASIN, not just yours

Checks read public product data, so a competitor is watched exactly like your own listing.

Percentage rules survive a reprice

A fixed figure stops being meaningful the first time you change price. A percentage keeps working.

The buy-box price, not the list price

The check records what a shopper actually sees, which is the number that moves your conversion.

Set one alert. That is the whole job.

  1. Paste an ASIN, a keyword, or an Amazon link

No Amazon login, no seller account, no card.

  2. Set the line that matters

    Absolute — “below $24.99” — or relative — “moves more than 8%”.

  3. Choose where it reaches you

WhatsApp, email, or both — and who on your team gets it.

  4. Decide what happens next

Read it and act, or let a position rule raise the bid inside your cap.

Price drop alerts FAQ

Checks run on a schedule, up to four times a day, between 07:00 and 21:00 in your marketplace timezone. So the honest answer is same day, not instantly. A change at 09:10 typically reaches you within a few hours; a change at 22:00 reaches you the next morning. Anything promising real-time Amazon monitoring is either polling harder than Amazon tolerates, or rounding up.

No. Checks and alerts run on public data — the search results page and the product page, exactly as a shopper sees them — so you can watch any ASIN, including products that are not yours. Connecting an Amazon Ads account is optional and unlocks two things: unlimited checks, and the ability for a position rule to change a keyword bid instead of only telling you about it.

Yes, and there is no card at any step. Checking a listing needs no account — five checks a session. A free account adds saved alerts on up to ten keywords or ASINs, and it does not expire or downgrade. Connecting an Amazon account makes checks unlimited. SellerMate earns on its ads automation platform, which is a separate product; the tracker stays free.

Yes. Checks use public product data, so any ASIN in a supported marketplace can be watched. You do not need to own the listing, and you do not need an Amazon account of any kind to run a check. Three to five rival ASINs is the list length that actually gets read; beyond that the alerts get muted, which is worse than not having them.

Sometimes, but not reliably. Because checks are scheduled rather than continuous, a price alert catches a sustained change dependably and a fifteen-minute discount only if a check happens to land inside it. That is worth saying plainly: this is built for the price change that lasts, which is also the one that costs you money.

The check records the price a shopper sees on the product page, which is the buy-box price when a buy box is present. That is the number that affects your conversion, so it is the number the rule is evaluated against. Every check also stores the review count, star rating, best-seller rank and availability alongside it, so the history explains itself when you come back to it.

The previous price, the new price, the size of the move, the ASIN and the time of the check — enough to decide without opening anything. The same alert can go to email, WhatsApp, or both, and you choose who on the team receives it.

A price move you hear about on Friday costs less than one you hear about next quarter.

Check any ASIN now and set the rule in the same minute.
